Introducing Intellidance® at Little Beats

Recently, I took a trip to Canada to become a certified instructor in an award-winning early childhood dance learning program called Intellidance®. I found out about Intellidance® through Youtube one day when searching for fun finger play songs for my tots class and came across Jessica, founder of Intellidance® and education extrodinairre. She is a crazy peppy, animated teacher who knows every song and dance in the book plus more. I immediately thought, 'WOW, I need to meet this woman!'

As it turns out, Jessica has been raking in the awards and accolaids in Edmonton Canada for the past 5 years for creating the #1 mommy and me class in Alberta, Canada! Like me, Jessica has discovered that teaching dance and music to babies is not only cute, it's extremely integral to their growth. When done well, this form of learning also has a tremendously strong impact on parents.

After 5 days of Intellidance® training, I realized this class belongs at Little Beats. And Jessica agreed! So it is with great excitement that we announce our partnership as Little Beats becomes the first US licensee of the Intellidance program.

This year's Little Beats Babies and Tykes students will be the first in the country to be learning the concept-based Intellidance® curriculum which uses dance, play, instruments and sensory exploration to explore and discover the world of our bodies in motion.

What does that mean for Little Beats families? Well, now you can know that we are learning a tried-and-true approach formulated by an expert in the creative dance and early childhood education field. But more importantly, you are innovators in the dance education world!!
